The WABCO 4005001010 is a 12-volt Enhanced Easy-Stop trailer ABS ECU and valve assembly configured for 2S/1M Basic MSH anti-lock braking systems. The complete assembly integrates the electronic ABS controller with a single pneumatic modulator valve and mounting bracket.
Designed for standard trailers manufactured after March 1, 2001, the 4005001010 monitors two wheel-speed sensors and controls one modulator valve to help prevent wheel lockup during braking. WABCO specifically recommends this configuration for conventional trailers and states that it should not be used on turntables, steerable trailers, or dollies.
WABCO specifies a 12V electrical system, maximum operating pressure of 188.5 PSI, IP66 protection, and an operating temperature range of approximately -40°F to 149°F.
