Product Description
The Bendix 278825 SV-1 Synchronizing Valve is a pilot-operated pneumatic control valve designed for heavy-duty truck, tractor, trailer, bus, and commercial vehicle air systems. The SV-1 is used to delay or sequence the operation of other pneumatic components by opening and exhausting at predetermined air-pressure levels.
This configuration opens the inlet at approximately 42 PSI and opens the exhaust at approximately 28 PSI when the control and supply pressures are common. The valve operates as a non-graduating on/off control valve and can be used in automatic or manually controlled pneumatic circuits.
The Bendix SV-1 features 1/4-inch NPT supply, delivery, and control ports with a 1/8-inch NPT exhaust port. Its compact die-cast body includes mounting provisions for frame or panel installation and is built for demanding commercial vehicle air-system service.
