The Voltair 12V6CF 12-Volt Heavy-Duty Air Compressor is a rugged vehicle-mounted compressor designed to provide dependable compressed air away from the shop. It is well suited for service trucks, tow trucks, farm trucks, fleet vehicles, roadside service, and other mobile work where a reliable onboard air source is needed.
The 12V6CF uses a 1 HP, 12-volt DC permanent-magnet motor paired with a heavy-duty cast-iron twin-cylinder, oil-lubricated compressor. Voltair specifies output at 10 CFM at 50 PSI and 6 CFM at 100 PSI, with a maximum system pressure of 150 PSI. The compressor uses a positive gear-belt drive and is housed in an all-steel powder-coated cabinet for durability in mobile service environments.
At 100 PSI, the unit draws approximately 90 amps and is rated for an 80% duty cycle at 90°F. Voltair states that the 12V6CF can fill a 10-gallon air tank from 0 to 150 PSI in approximately 2 minutes 55 seconds, and recover the same tank from 130 to 150 PSI in approximately 35 seconds.
The compressor includes features such as an air filter, pressure switch, safety relief valve, quick-coupler outlets, storage-tank connection, oil fill and dipstick, solenoid, and oil drain.
