The Holland 4000502 is a genuine SAF-Holland oversize fifth wheel locking jaw replacement kit designed for compatible left-hand Simplex fifth wheel assemblies. This kit provides the replacement locking jaw, oversize eccentric jaw pin, and retaining hardware needed to service worn fifth wheel locking mechanisms.
The oversize eccentric pin is designed for fifth wheels that have developed excessive wear in the eccentric pin mounting area of the top plate. Its enlarged hex head helps compensate for wear that can prevent proper locking jaw adjustment.
The kit provides a repair solution for compatible older Simplex fifth wheels without requiring replacement of the complete fifth wheel top plate, provided the existing assembly remains within the manufacturer's service limits.

This kit replaces the locking jaw and associated components only. The fifth wheel top plate, release handle, lock assembly, and mounting brackets are not included.
The oversize eccentric pin is intended for fifth wheels with sufficient wear in the eccentric pin mounting area. It should not be installed in an unworn mounting hole or forced into position.
Important Fitment Note: The 4000502 is the left-hand oversize eccentric jaw kit. The corresponding standard-pin kit is 4000501, while 4000523 is the right-hand oversize version. The oversize pin is intended for worn six-point adjustment sockets on compatible older Simplex models, not the newer SE eight-point design.
