This listing is for a rebuild-and-return service for an original GM vacuum brake booster used on older Chevrolet and GMC medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
THIS IS AN R&R (REBUILD & RETURN) SERVICE ONLY. A REPLACEMENT BOOSTER IS NOT INCLUDED. YOU MUST SEND YOUR ORIGINAL BOOSTER IN FOR REBUILDING.
The customer's original vacuum booster is disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt using appropriate service components. The completed unit is then tested for proper vacuum operation before being returned.
Rebuild-and-return service is commonly required for older GM vacuum brake boosters where direct replacement units are obsolete, difficult to locate, or where retaining the original booster configuration is necessary.
