The Bendix 2503259X Hydrovac Brake Booster is a remanufactured vacuum/hydraulic power brake booster designed for older Ford commercial vehicles equipped with vacuum-assisted hydraulic brake systems.
The Hydrovac uses engine vacuum to multiply hydraulic braking force, reducing pedal effort while providing the additional brake assist needed by medium-duty trucks. This configuration features an approximately 11-inch diameter vacuum housing and measures approximately 14 inches overall, making it more compact than many of the larger Fourth Series Hydrovac units.
The 2503259 configuration uses 5/16-inch inverted-flare hydraulic inlet and outlet connections, a 3/4-inch air-cleaner connection, and a 3/8-inch NPT vacuum supply port.
