Product Description
The Bendix 278614N DC-4 Double Check Valve is designed for heavy-duty truck and commercial vehicle air brake systems. It allows two separate air-pressure sources to supply a common delivery circuit while preventing one supply source from feeding back into the other.
The internal shuttle automatically responds to the higher-pressure supply source, sealing the lower-pressure inlet and directing air through the delivery port. Bendix notes that this type of valve can be used where a component, such as a trailer brake circuit, needs to receive air from either of two control sources.
