The Haldex 4721950780X is a remanufactured left-hand ABS modulator valve designed for heavy-duty trucks and tractors equipped with Meritor/WABCO-style anti-lock braking systems.
During ABS operation, the valve responds to commands from the electronic control unit to rapidly increase, hold, or reduce brake pressure at the controlled wheel. Haldex lists the 4721950780X as the left-hand modulator valve used in several rear-axle ABS valve packages.
The valve uses a 12-volt bayonet-style electrical connector and 1/2"-14 NPT air ports. Haldex shows it in 4S/4M, 6S/4M, and 6S/6M ABS configurations. The matching right-hand valve is 4721950790X.
