Product Description
The Bendix 103879 AD-4 Air Dryer Seal Kit is a genuine Bendix service kit designed for maintenance of compatible Bendix AD-4 air dryers.
Bendix identifies 103879 specifically as the AD-4 Air Dryer Seal Kit. The kit contains the outlet-port check valve along with the O-rings and seals required when removing and reinstalling the AD-4 end-cover assembly.
The outlet check valve helps prevent reservoir air from flowing backward into the air dryer after compressed air has passed through the dryer. Replacing the associated seals and O-rings during end-cover service helps restore proper sealing and reduce the chance of air leaks.
Bendix also specifies that the 103879 seal kit is included in both the 103980 End Cover Maintenance Kit and the 103981 Desiccant Cartridge Replacement Kit, so it should not normally be purchased separately if one of those larger kits is already being installed.
