The Bendix 5013672 PuraGuard QC Oil Coalescing Filter Cartridge is a genuine replacement filter designed for compatible Bendix PuraGuard QC compressed air filtration systems. Engineered to help remove oil aerosols, liquid oil, and fine particulate contamination, this filter helps maintain cleaner compressed air throughout heavy-duty commercial vehicle air brake systems.
The PuraGuard QC system operates downstream of the vehicle's air dryer, providing an additional level of filtration before compressed air enters the primary air reservoir. By removing oil and contaminants that may pass through the air dryer, the filter helps protect air brake valves, ABS components, suspension controls, and other pneumatic equipment from contamination-related wear and malfunction.
Featuring a convenient spin-on design, the Bendix 5013672 allows technicians to replace the filter cartridge without removing the complete PuraGuard QC assembly or disconnecting its air lines.

The Bendix PuraGuard QC filtration system uses coalescing media to capture oil droplets and other contaminants carried by compressed air. These contaminants collect in the filter sump, where they can be drained during routine maintenance.
The filter is particularly useful in vehicles with demanding pneumatic system requirements, including transit buses, commercial trucks, tankers, refuse vehicles, and equipment with air-operated accessories.
Bendix recommends checking and draining the filter sump approximately every 300 operating hours, 8,000 miles, or one month, whichever occurs first. The air system must be completely depressurized before servicing the filter.
Before ordering, verify that the vehicle is equipped with a Bendix PuraGuard QC filtration assembly. The 5013672 is a replacement cartridge only and does not include the mounting bracket, filter head, or complete air filtration assembly.
The cartridge is not a substitute for the vehicle's primary air dryer.
