The Bendix 11999X Remanufactured Hydraulic Brake Master Cylinder is designed for medium-duty commercial vehicles equipped with Bendix Hydro-Max hydraulic power brake systems.
This master cylinder features a 1.75-inch bore and converts brake pedal and booster force into hydraulic pressure for the vehicle’s service brake system. Its large-capacity design is suited to the braking demands of medium-duty trucks and commercial chassis.
The 11999X uses a 9/16"-18 primary hydraulic outlet and 1/2"-20 secondary outlet and incorporates a 50 cubic-inch brake fluid reservoir. This configuration does not use an internal residual check valve. The maximum usable piston stroke for this 1.75-inch bore design is approximately 2.127 inches.
The 11999 family was used with Bendix Hydro-Max brake systems on numerous Ford B-Series, L-Series, and LN-Series medium-duty trucks, particularly 1980s and early-1990s configurations. BEPCO specifically lists the 11999X for Ford B600/B700/B800 and L/LN-series Hydro-Max systems from the 1984–1991 period.
