The Bendix 802177 PP-DC Parking Brake Dash Valve is a heavy-duty push-pull control valve designed to operate the parking brakes on commercial trucks, tractors, and buses. Mounted in the dashboard, this valve allows drivers to manually apply or release the parking brakes while helping protect the vehicle against dangerously low air pressure.
Featuring an integrated double-check valve, the 802177 can receive compressed air from either the primary or secondary service reservoir. If system pressure drops below the required operating level, the valve automatically moves to the exhaust position, allowing the spring parking brakes to apply.
The valve features push-to-connect air line fittings for convenient installation and a durable, corrosion-resistant housing designed for demanding commercial vehicle environments.
