The Bendix K022372 R-14 Relay Valve is designed for heavy-duty commercial vehicle air brake systems, providing rapid brake application and release by controlling compressed air delivery to the brake chambers. Its anti-compounding design helps prevent simultaneous spring brake and service brake forces from being applied unnecessarily.
This valve features a 4 PSI crack pressure, a 1/2"-14 NPT supply port, and multiple delivery ports, including four 1/2-inch push-to-connect (PTC) connections. The push-to-connect fittings allow convenient installation of compatible air lines, while the durable valve construction is designed for demanding commercial truck operating conditions.
The K022372 is particularly suited to air brake configurations requiring multiple delivery connections, including certain ABS axle module arrangements.
