The Bendix 300386 is a 12-volt ABS pressure modulator valve designed for heavy-duty truck and tractor anti-lock braking systems. During an ABS event, the modulator responds to commands from the ABS electronic control unit to rapidly increase, hold, or reduce air pressure to the brake chamber, helping prevent wheel lockup.
Bendix identifies the 300386 as a threaded-connector, metric-threaded-port pressure modulator valve and lists 300073 as an equivalent model. Current replacement/interchange information also associates the 300386 with later Bendix 801666 / K161888OR modulator valves.
