Product Description
The Bendix K109808 TABS-6 Standard Trailer ABS Module is a complete electronic and pneumatic braking control assembly designed for commercial trailers equipped with a 2S/1M anti-lock braking system. Combining an ABS electronic control unit (ECU) and modulator relay valve into one compact assembly, this module helps prevent wheel lockup during braking while maintaining trailer stability and control.
The K109808 continuously monitors signals from two wheel speed sensors and electronically regulates compressed air pressure through its integrated modulator relay valve. During sudden braking or reduced-traction conditions, the system automatically adjusts brake pressure to help maintain wheel rotation and reduce the risk of skidding.
Featuring a 4.5 PSI crack pressure, integrated power-line carrier (PLC) communication, and a durable weather-resistant design, this module provides dependable ABS performance in demanding commercial trailer environments. It supports both reservoir-mounted and frame-mounted installations when properly configured with compatible mounting hardware.

The K109808 replaces earlier Bendix trailer ABS modules, including 801855, and corresponds to original equipment numbers K109807 and 5014015. Its updated 4.5 PSI crack pressure provides improved brake balance characteristics compared with certain earlier 3 PSI configurations.
Unlike configurable TABS-6 modules, the K109808 is specifically intended for standard 2S/1M axle systems and does not support automatic conversion to other ABS configurations.
Before ordering, verify the original ABS module part number, sensor configuration, electrical connector, air port sizes, and mounting arrangement. This module is intended for compatible trailer axle systems and should not be confused with the K109812 dolly-axle configuration.
After installation, perform the required electrical diagnostics, pneumatic leak testing, and ABS system operational checks according to Bendix service procedures.
