The Ingersoll Rand SRV125 Air Starter Relay Valve is a heavy-duty pneumatic control valve designed for engines equipped with compressed-air starting systems. The valve controls high-volume air flow from the receiver tank to the air starter when the starter control circuit is activated.
The SRV125 provides rapid response to help ensure proper starter engagement and quick disengagement after the engine starts, reducing the risk of damage to the starter pinion and flywheel ring gear. Its durable die-cast aluminum housing resists abrasion and corrosion, while the stainless-steel piston return spring is designed to resist rust caused by moisture in the compressed-air system.
This model uses 1-1/4-inch NPT inlet and outlet connections and a 1/4-inch NPT pilot/control connection. Ingersoll Rand rates the relay-valve family for a maximum operating pressure of 225 PSI and an operating temperature range of approximately -20°F to 250°F.
