Product Description
The Bendix 800202PG AD-9 PuraGuard Air Dryer is a heavy-duty air dryer designed to remove moisture, oil aerosols, and other contaminants from compressed air before they enter the vehicle’s reservoirs and air brake components.
This PuraGuard version incorporates an oil-coalescing desiccant cartridge, providing an additional level of filtration for vehicles where compressor oil contamination is a concern. Keeping the air system clean and dry helps reduce corrosion, contamination, and cold-weather freeze-up while supporting reliable valve and brake-system operation.
The 800202PG operates on 12 volts with a 75-watt heater and uses 1/2-inch NPT supply and delivery ports along with a 1/4-inch NPT control port. This configuration uses the updated end cover with an additional port for the air governor, which is the distinguishing feature behind the “extra port” description.
