The Bendix 5004482 M-22 ABS Modulator Valve is a heavy-duty electro-pneumatic valve designed for commercial vehicle air brake systems equipped with Bendix anti-lock braking systems.
The M-22 functions as the interface between the vehicle’s ABS electronic controller and the pneumatic brake system. During an ABS event, its internal solenoids rapidly control air pressure to the service brake actuator, allowing the ABS controller to reduce, hold, or restore brake pressure as needed to help prevent wheel lock.
