The SK224 Brake Caliper Shim Kit is designed for 55251-series Dayton Walther 2.50-inch twin-piston hydraulic brake calipers used on medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

The SK224 system uses several shim thicknesses depending on measured caliper clearance, including approximately .025", .040", .060", and .074". The correct shim should be selected based on the actual gap rather than simply installing the thickest available shim.
