The SK225 Brake Caliper Shim Kit is designed for Bendix-style hydraulic disc brake calipers used on medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
The shim kit provides the calibrated spacers needed to establish proper clearance between the brake caliper and anchor plate. Correct clearance helps maintain proper caliper alignment and movement while supporting even brake-pad contact and dependable hydraulic disc brake operation.
SK225 is used with multiple Bendix twin-piston caliper configurations, including 2.60-inch and 2.88-inch piston designs. Common compatible caliper families include 55250, 55314, 55480, and 55656. Published service information shows SK225 shims in .025-inch and .045-inch thicknesses for different caliper-to-anchor clearance ranges.
