The Bendix 107798 AD-9 Air Dryer Purge Valve Repair Kit is a maintenance kit designed to rebuild the air portion of the purge valve housing on compatible Bendix AD-9 air dryers.
The purge valve is responsible for releasing moisture, oil, and other contaminants collected by the air dryer during the purge cycle. Worn seals or internal components can contribute to air leakage, incomplete purging, or reduced dryer performance.
Bendix originally identified 107798 as the AD-9 Purge Valve Housing Maintenance Kit. The kit rebuilds the pneumatic portion of the purge valve housing and does not include the heater or thermostat. Current Bendix literature lists 5005037 as the hard-seat purge valve housing maintenance kit serving the same function.
